Durden Outdoor Displays, Inc. is excited to partner with Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam for the 5th straight year, bringing thousands of people to the beautiful beaches of Panama City Beach, FL. Festivalgoers travel from all across the United States not only for the country music but for the views of the most gorgeous beaches along the gulf coast as well. The three-day country music festival is scheduled for Labor Day weekend, September 1st thru 3rd this year.

Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam utilized a mix of 4-Week Rotary Posters and the Durden Digital Network to saturate our ten county service area to include Dothan, Troy, Eufaula, Ozark, Geneva and Enterprise markets to name a few. They were able to run top of the mind awareness ads to promote the festival early on in the campaign. This allowed them to pre-sale tickets and boost the hype for one of the largest country music festivals in the south. Once all artists were secured, they started running ads across both platforms announcing the stellar lineup for the festival. Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam will feature popular country music artists such as Luke Bryan, Little Big Town, Jason Aldean and many more. GOD SPEAKS BILLBOARDS SHOW UP ON DURDEN DIGITAL NETWORK

Interruption………….. An interruption is typically viewed as an unwelcome pause on progress. However, last week Durden Outdoor launched a Digital Campaign directed at doing just that. In light of months of societal unrest, we felt as if the Wiregrass needed an interruption. These “Signs from God” serve as a ray of hope designed to focus hurried, rush-hour thoughts on God in a creative and thought provoking way. The #FAMOUS MAKERS decided the best platform for this message was the Durden Digital Network. It is the largest digital billboard network in Southeast Alabama with 28+ boards. These boards reach over ONE MILLION+ cars daily in Dothan, Ozark, Enterprise, Eufaula, and Troy. Durden’s “Signs from God” campaign is specifically designed to serve as a positive interruption from the daily commute through entertaining and inspiring content. FinalCollage

Extra Large Jason Aldean Teaser | Answer Billboard gets huge response for a local Wrangler retailer

Jason Aldean TEASER_ANSWER Billboard The power of one billboard can be huge if the message is right.  Durden Outdoor teamed up with local Wrangler retailer THE BARN for this awesome TEASER | ANSWER board. THE GOAL:  The client wanted to let locals & through traffic know that they are the BOOT & JEAN Capital of Alabama. THE IDEA:   Build a 25 foot tall cowboy (in jeans) and put him on a billboard smack dab in the center of Dothan, AL. THE SIZZLE:  The 2013 TOADLICK Music Festival was approaching April 11,12,13 and THE BARN was a sponsor of the event.  We spoke to the festival promoters and they had tried to book country music star JASON ALDEAN because of popular demand, but were unable to book him for their 2013 event.  So, how cool would it be if THE BARN could bring him to town? J THE TEASER:  We put up a billboard for 4 weeks that simply said “JASON ALDEAN IS COMING HERE.” THE ANSWER:  Our production team designed, built and installed a 25’ tall JASON ALDEAN on a low height billboard located on a major through fair (Hwy 231) in Dothan, AL with 38,000+ cars per day. THE RESULT:  Huge Local Response & PR for our client. NEXT QUESTION:  How can TEAM DURDEN make your next campaign FAMOUS? Jason Aldean has set the stage in country music. The singer has sold more than 7 million records and went double platinum with his 2010 album “My Kinda Party.” The recent release of his new album Night Train has everyone buzzing. His first single from this album, “Take a Little Ride,” has hit a three week streak at No. 1. You can read more about him on his website www.jasonaldean.com. The Barn, a local business, has been providing western and casual clothing to the surrounding area for more than 30 years. They carry top brands of clothes, shoes, boots, hats, and accessories for the entire family. With Jason Aldean being the face of Wrangler jeans, The Barn decided they wanted to be a part of all the hype. The Kreative team at Durden designed a campaign to market their products successfully. The Durden rotary poster, displayed for a couple of weeks, next to Conestoga Steak House on HWY 231 N, kept the Wiregrass pondering and curious about the artist’s where-abouts. Through social media motorists have been trying to find the answers. Will Jason Aldean come to Toadlick? The Durden team knows what he is up to. Stay tuned!

ALABAMA Votes, Candidates Use Durden Billboards

March 13, 2012 is the congressional primary election. Who are you voting for? Eleven running candidates voted for Durden when they decided how to promote their campaign. We had the privilege of doing Eight Rotary Poster designs throughout the area, a bulletin in Dale County, & two digital billboards on our Durden Digital Network, which has 16 locations! Let’s meet the candidates who voted for us… Stuart K. Smith is an Ozark Attorney and Republican Candidate for the office of Circuit Judge, Place 1, within the 33rd Judicial Circuit, which serves Dale and Geneva Counties. Mr. Smith helped his campaign by using Durden’s Rotary posters. For past 6 years, Bill Filmore has been Chief Assistant District Attorney for Dale/Geneva Counties. Filmore handles the prosecution of major felony jury trials (usually sexual assaults and murder). Attorney Filmore also chose to promote his campaign with Durden’s Rotary Posters in Dale & Geneva counties. Ron Snell believes his qualifications and experiences, especially having taught in every Geneva County school cluster, make him the best candidate to advance all Geneva County schools as the Geneva County Superintendent. Mr. Snell chose to use rotary posters along with his other campaign elements. Fred Hamic seeks re-election to Geneva County Commission chairman/probate judge. Hamic says that in his first term he helped to get Geneva County on firm financial footing, and that the county currently owes nothing against its $10 million debt limit. He came to Durden for his outdoor advertising of his re-election campaign. Rotary Posters in Geneva County display his artwork created by our Art Department. Starla Mathews has served the citizens of Houston County as Revenue Commissioner for the past twelve years. It is this experience that leads her to seek the office of probate judge in Houston County, Alabama. Starla chose to promote her campaign on Durden’s Digital Network. Durden has a total of 17 locations when it comes to advertising digitally. Patrick Davenport believes it is important to have an attorney as Probate Judge. He graduated from UAB with a bachelor’s degree in history and received his law degree from Cumberland School of law at Samford University. Davenport said his opportunity to serve as special probate judge in the absence of Houston County Probate Judge Luke Cooley has given him a unique qualification to hold the office. Mike Stell’s mission is  to bring Barbour Counties Probate Judge’s office into the 21 Century. Snell wants to stop the long lines and make the office more “Customer Service Friendly.” Mr. Stell is promoting his campaign with Durden’s Rotary Poster in Barbour County. Steve Blair has operated a law firm for 25 years and served as Coffee County district judge for eight years. He was a 12th Judicial Circuit judge for two years and Enterprise’s municipal judge for the past six years. Mr. Blair is using Durden’s Digital Network in Enterprise to help promote his campaign to be Coffee County Probate Judge. Sharon Ard Michalic has 26 years working with Dale County. Her work experience began with the Tax Assessor and Tax Collector Offices before transferring to the Probate Office in 1994. She has had the privilege of working for two past probate judges. Now she is running for Probate Judge herself, and utilized Durden’s Rotary Poster to help her attain that spot. Woodrow (Woody) Hilboldt said his long work history in community-based business and his degree in business administration would be invaluable resources in carrying out the probate judge’s duties, which include maintaining vital public records, protecting public resources, and additional administrative duties associated with the “business” side of the office. He chose Durden to help promote his campaign with our Print Rotary Posters. Gerald Harden has served the citizens of Dale County politically for over 30 years and wishes to continue to do so. Harden believes he has the experience and the leadership capability in order to continue to make Dale County a better place today and for future generations. He is utilizing Durden’s Print Posters to campaign for his election into the Dale County Commission Chairperson Office. New Leadership and New Ideas for the Future of Barbour County is Jason Tyre’s 2012 Campaign Slogan. Over the last sixteen years, Jason has worked diligently through the Court System to provide alternative programs for substance abuse offenders to make them more productive citizens. He chose the Eufaula Digital Light House to further his campaign through outdoor media and advertising. Area businessman and community leader, Mark Blankenship announced his candidacy for Chairman of the Dale County Commission. Blankenship said he wants to put his experience, work ethic, and aggressive leadership to work for Dale County. Blankenship, a licensed residential contractor and developer, currently serves as President pro-tem of the Ozark City Council, serves as a member of the Ozark Technology board, and serves on the CB&T bank board of directors.  Mr. Blankenship chose to promote his campaign with a Durden Bulletin In Dale County.
